April brings The Masters Golf Tournament to the Augusta Area every year along with Spring Break for the areas school students. This usually brings a slow down in homes sold for at least that week of the golf tournament. Those home owners in the Augusta Area including Grovetown, Martinez, Evans and Richmond County that are either in a golf course community or are close to Augusta National can get a good fee for renting their home out the week of The Masters. If you are looking to purchase an investment property, you might want to take that into consideration. Here are the housing stats for the month of April 2010. Once again this is for the Grovetown Area and I will break it down in two sections for Grovetown 2CO (Columbia County Area North of I-20) and Grovetown 4CO (Columbia County Area South of I-20).Sold Listings: 86 Total for Grovetown, GA – 47 Homes for Grovetown 2CO and 39 Homes for Grovetown 4CO.Once again new construction was the leader in home sales for the month April.
