The Grovetown GA Housing Market was a little stronger in sales during the month of August than July.  There were 76 residential properties that were sold in August compared to only 61 in July.  August is the traditional back-to-school time for Columbia County GA residents, which usually sees most people trying to get into their new home prior to the first day of school.  Here are the trends for the Grovetown Housing Market for August:

• 27 New Listings
• $162,007 Average Sales Price
• 147 Average Days on Market

Grovetown 4CO:

• 37 Sold
• 48 New Listings
• $181,848 Average Sales Price
• 180 Average Days on Market

New Construction was once again the driving force in sales for the month of August 2010.  High Meadows was the leader for Grovetown 2CO with 8 houses sold and Pamir Place was the leader for Grovetown 4CO with 6 houses sold – all of these were new construction.
